Evidenta did not start with a business plan but with a specific firm: our mother’s accounting practice, seven accountants and hundreds of clients. For years its management kept coming back to one question: “How do I know what my people are working on right now — and that nothing slips past anyone?” We built the answer as software. The firm has run it in live operation ever since, and every new feature passes through its daily work first.
Developing for a firm that actually uses the application sets a clear rule: only what holds up in accountants’ work belongs in Evidenta. What did not prove itself in operation, we removed.
Evidenta is developed by Evidenta Software s.r.o., which we founded as two brothers and software engineers. An application you trust with your clients’ data has to be reliable without exception. That is why every change passes automated tests, backups are not only made nightly but also test-restored, and support comes directly from the people who build the application.
